The PreventNet database serves as a connecting point between people interested in violence prevention and local programs and resources. You can search for community resources by city, state, zip code or area code to find helpful resources, services, and places to get involved in your community. Don't see your favorite local program? Help spread the word about their good work by submitting their information for us to post.

ICVP's Resource Directory of on-line violence prevention sites is continuously being updated, and can help you find information on a variety of topics and issue areas. You can also let us know of web sites you have found helpful by submitting their information to add to our list once it is reviewed by our administrator.

Working on a school paper? Need quick statistics for a new story? ICVP's violence prevention Fact Sheets provide information by topic area. In Summer 2005 we will be updating all the fact sheets posted.

Peacing It Together: A Framework for Preventing Youth Violence and Curriculum Review Guide provides violence prevention practitioners, health educators, teachers, administrators and youth workers with an overview of youth violence prevention strategies across the life cycle. This 120-page resource is free of charge (nominal shipping charges are based on the quantity needed), and available in book and searchable CD-ROM format.
