TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND COACHING
Individualized technical assistance and on-site coaching is available to help organizations design and implement evaluations tailored to the specific needs of their program. Technical assistance services are provided by Evaluation Coaches, whose role is to provide skill-building and evaluation resources so that the organization's staff builds the capacity to evaluate their own programs themselves.
Coaches have worked with agencies on a variety of issues including, how to plan an evaluation, how to develop or locate data collection tools, how to implement the evaluation, how to analyze evaluation information, and how to present evaluation findings to multiple audiences.

EXTERNAL EVALUATOR SERVICES
Full evaluation services are available for organizations interested in hiring an external team to conduct an evaluation of their violence prevention programs. For example, the Institute for Community Peace (formerly the National Funding Collaborative on Violence Prevention) awarded a grant to the Evaluation Resource Institute to serve as the local evaluation team for the Violence Prevention Collaborative in Rockford, Illinois. Additionally, the Institute has conducted evaluation projects for the Columbia College's Office of Community Arts Partnership, and Chicago Department of Public Health Office on Violence Prevention.
